Stray Animal Lives Matter
How Can We Help and Protect Them?
Every day we passed them by on the streets. Looking for food in the garbage, dodging vehicles, and dying alone on the cold streets of the city Strays are caused by improper care of domesticated animals, just like pet owners not spaying or neutering their pets, people still buying instead of adopting or fostering shelter and rescue animals, and abandoning them when they can no longer afford to feed them or when they get sick and their owners don’t want to deal with making them better (financially, emotionally, or physically). They are also the result of intact pets that are free to roam the streets and come and go as they please.
As these stray animals roamed the streets, they caused a lot of problems in the community. They caused nuisances, defecated everywhere, scavenged on garbage, caused or got involved in road accidents, transmitted diseases, and may have died on the streets. There are many ways to help stray animals: feed and care for them, adopt rescued and shelter animals, volunteer at animal welfare organizations, raise awareness about cruelty, and call a vet or shelter if you see a sick or injured animal.
Stray animals are also living beings, and we must help them instead of hurting them. We are here to educate and raise awareness about stray animals. Also, it was conceived to show ways in which we can help in order to give these precious beings comfortable lives.
